Hello
My name is Spence and I’m a connector of people and ideas. I’ve found a career path that fits my skills, goals, and core values after leaving the arts and have a burning passion to help others do the same. I spent my whole childhood, education, and early career in music; yet, after experiencing the realities behind a bohemian lifestyle and observing the trajectory of many successful professional musicians around the country, I decided to shift course.

It only took one hybrid Master's degree, two stints in quasi-gateway arts careers that I hated, three geographic moves, three hundred sixty-five days in an intensive professional development program, one thousand job-searching articles, about a million informational coffee dates and networking events, and countless guardian angels allowing me to finally release the reigns and clear the space for some serendipity.

the fulfilling, lucrative and whole-self aligning trajectory that I’m currently on. Is this for forever? Who’s to say, but I can say that hindsight has truly offered me the 20/20 crystal clear perspective that I could have only hoped for years ago, when one foot was trepidatiously stepping in front of the other on repeat.
